Except that my laptop isn't new at all. It's refurbished.
The seller, Eureka Computer Technology from Penang, advertised it as brand new. Nowhere on the posting did it mention that this was refurbished. What made things worse was that it came with a host of problems, with the keyboard popping out and speakers dying after five minutes. The final straw was that I couldn't extend the warranty because it was refurbished, and it only had a few months instead left of the 1 year period left. Please, avoid user chenchen89. They have not been replying my emails, even though new products are going up.
Lelong.com did nothing to help as well. It seems as if they do not care about the user, preferring to protect its vendors first. They've been repeatedly asking for my transaction id and I've given it to them at least 5 times. Each time they take a few weeks to reply, and each reply is asking for the transaction id again. I love online shopping, but I wish Lelong would care more about its users. Take caution while shopping on Lelong.com and don't attempt to buy anything unless you are fine with the risk of getting ripped off. Lelong certainly doesn't care. Now they've stopped replying my emails all together. I hope this business model doesn't work for long, and I hope the power can be restored to the consumer.
